Botsa Satyanarayana Blames Multiple Factors for YSRCP’s Election Loss
Senior leader of the YSRCP, Botsa Satyanarayana, made significant remarks regarding the party's defeat in the recent elections. Speaking at a high-level YSRCP meeting held in Anakapalli district on Monday, Botsa Satyanarayana stated, “Just as there were a hundred reasons for Karna’s death, there are many reasons behind the YSRCP's loss.”
Several other leaders attended the meeting, including Gudivada Amarnath, Dharmasri, Budi Mutyala Naidu, Kannababu, Varudu Kalyani, Shobha Haimavathi, and Boddeda Prasad.
Botsa Satyanarayana simultaneously launched criticism against the coalition government. He alleged that within just one year, the coalition government had incurred a debt of ₹1.5 lakh crore. He mocked the restart of works in Amaravati, likening it to “a remarriage.” Questioning Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Amaravati, he asked, “What did Modi actually offer?”
Referring to the tragic incident at the Simhachalam temple, Botsa Satyanarayana alleged that the death of seven devotees was the result of the coalition leaders' obsessive publicity campaigns. He claimed, “All these deaths are nothing short of murders committed by the government.” He further criticized the administration, saying that not a single new pension has been granted since the coalition took power.
He reiterated that Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had regarded welfare and development as his two eyes. He accused N. Chandrababu Naidu of deceiving the public with false promises. Botsa Satyanarayana stated, “In the 11 months of coalition rule, the people have gained absolutely nothing.” He urged the public to observe what real benefits the state had actually received. He also alleged that Chandrababu Naidu was merely surviving through the support of three television channels and three newspapers.
