Ambati Rambabu Files Police Complaint Against Seema Raja and Kirrak RP
YSRCP leader and former minister Ambati Rambabu lodged multiple complaints with the police in Guntur today, alleging false propaganda against himself, his party, and its leaders on social media platforms. He demanded legal action against those spreading misinformation and warned that if the police failed to act on the complaints, he would be compelled to seek judicial intervention. “If necessary, I will argue the case myself,” Ambati Rambabu stated after submitting his complaint at the Pattabhipuram Police Station.
Ambati Rambabu alleged that the Telugu Desam Party’s social media wing (referred to as ITDP) was engaging in a smear campaign against YSRCP, its former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, and himself. He stated that a complaint had been formally filed against ITDP for these actions.
Additionally, he accused individuals including Seema Raja and Kirrak RP of making inappropriate videos while donning YSRCP scarves and spreading falsehoods. Separate complaints were lodged against these individuals as well.
Ambati Rambabu criticized the police for inaction on previous complaints made by the party, noting that no concrete steps were taken in response. He said this time he ensured to obtain a formal acknowledgment receipt of the complaint. He alleged that while police remained unresponsive to YSRCP's grievances, they acted immediately when leaders from the Telugu Desam Party filed complaints, even fabricating false cases in such instances. “The police system is currently under the full control of the Telugu Desam Party,” he claimed.
He further alleged that the false propaganda by ITDP was being conducted with the encouragement of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Minister Nara Lokesh. He emphasized that their fight would continue until the responsible individuals were legally punished. “We will not rest until justice is served,” said Ambati Rambabu, adding that he was prepared to take the matter to the Supreme Court if needed. He concluded by asserting that individuals like Seema Raja and Kirrak RP could not escape the law, regardless of who supported them.
