2 dead 'gangsters' are suspected SIMI terrorists: intelligence department

Hyderabad, April 4: Top intelligence officials are reported to have said the two men shot dead in the Halgonda encounter were actually suspected SIMI terrorists. The two, Mohammad Aijajudden and Mohammad Aslam, are reported to have escaped from Khandwa Jail in Madhya Pradesh, the officials said. According to intelligence officials, three other SIMI terrorists, identified as Amjad Khan, Zakir Hussain Sadiq and Mehboob Guddu, continue to be absconding.
