Smriti Irani case: Goa police to quiz top Fabindia executives
Panaji, April 4: The Goa Police Crime Branch in all probability will summon senior executives of Fabindia for questioning on Saturday.
Earlier, Goa Police arrested four employees of the Fabindia outlet in Goa where Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani is reported to have detected a camera trained on the trial room.
Karthik Kashyap, a senior officer of the local Crime Branch, said, "We will be questioning all the top bosses of Fabindia, including its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (William Bissell) Saturday."
Meanwhile, a team of top Fabindia officials is on its way to Goa.
Karthik Kashyap has identified the four arrested persons as Paresh Bhagat, Raju Payanche, Prashant Naik and Karim Lakhani.
The four of them have been booked under Sections 354 C (voyeurism), 509 (intrusion into privacy) and Section 66E of the Information Technology Act.
