FCRI Hyderabad student K.Raju secured AIR 86 Rank in IFS exam-2021 in 1st Attempt

23 year old, Kasarla Raju, a student of Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI) Hyderabad got selected for IFS in his very first attempt by securing All India 86 Rank in IFS exam-2021 conducted by UPSC. He is from Suraram village of Jangaon District. He finished BSc Forestry last year and currently pursuing MSc Forestry at FCRI Hyderabad. He cracked IFS with Forestry and Geology as Optionals.

He wholeheartedly conveyed his gratitude to Hon'ble CM Sri K. Chandrasekar Rao garu for setting up a world class institution like FCRI and giving us an opportunity to pursue Forestry education and aim for top exams like- IAS/IFS. Dean FCRI Smt. Priyanka Varghese, IFS and all the faculty and staff had congratulated him on this achievement. Speaking to media, K. Raju had conveyed his gratitude and heart felt thanks to
Dean FCRI, Dy.Director Sri K.Srinivas, IFS, and Sri A.Narasimha Reddy, DCF, all the faculty members and staff for their constant support and motivation in all possible ways.

He also credited his success to the continuous mentoring and coaching offered by FCRI Study Circle, under the guidance of Sri A.Narasimha Reddy,DCF, which made it possible to crack IFS in my very first attempt. He also conveyed his gratitude to Spl.CS Shanti Kumari, IAS, PCCF(HoFF) R.M.Dobriyal, IFS, and entire Forest Dept. for all their motivation and support.

In the last two years, FCRI Study Circle helped students to clear various UPSC exams like- 4 students selected for SSB Interview in Combined Defence Services (CDS) Exam and 1 student selected for interview of CAPF(AC) and one student selected for IAS Mains exam.
