New Delhi: On Wednesday, a passenger aboard an IndiGo flight bound for Chennai attempted to open the emergency exit door. The incident occurred on flight 6E 6341, departing from Delhi on Tuesday night. The individual, identified as Manikandan, was handed over to Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) officials upon arrival at Chennai Airport. IndiGo has filed a complaint against him, and an ongoing investigation is underway. Upon landing, airline authorities briefed CISF personnel, requesting action against the unruly passenger. In a formal letter, they stated that the crew had identified the passenger, filled an unruly passenger report, and were following procedure by filing a police complaint.
