Sonia Gandhi's Bold Stance on Women's Reservation Bill: 'Apna Hai'

Sonia Gandhi, the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP), shared her thoughts on the Women's Reservation Bill, which was recently cleared by the Union Cabinet. She made her stance clear when she arrived at Parliament on Tuesday morning. When asked about the Women's Reservation Bill returning to Parliament, Sonia Gandhi responded with a simple and direct statement: "It is ours, apna hai." This shows her support and ownership of the bill. The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, approved the Constitution Amendment Bill, which will provide reservation for women in both Parliament and state assemblies. This decision paves the way for the introduction of this historic bill during the ongoing special session of Parliament.
