Hyderabad: Alpha Hotel in Secunderabad, faced closure by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Sunday due to hygiene violations. As per reports, an individual named Muhammad consumed Mutton Keema and roti at Alpha Hotel and experienced illness within minutes. He was promptly transported to a nearby hospital due to vomiting complaints. Subsequently, he filed a complaint at the police station against the establishment. On September 15, 2023, reports emerged regarding the hotel's provision of stale food in unhygienic conditions. Following these allegations, GHMC's food safety wing conducted an inspection of the premises and identified several hygiene violations. The team of officers also collected food samples suspected of infringing the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. These samples have been sent to the State Food Laboratory in Nacharam for analysis.
