Brahmani Leads Charge in Protests Against Chandrababu Naidu's Arrest

Rajahmundry witnessed a significant demonstration this evening, as the family members of TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu took to the streets protesting his arrest, terming it as unjust. A large number of people joined the protest. Placards reading "Save Democracy" and "Save AP" were prominently displayed. Chandrababu family members including Nara Bhuvaneshwari and Nara Brahmani were part of the demonstration. Brahmani, while speaking to the media, emphasized the unjust treatment meted out to Chandrababu Naidu, who she described as a visionary leader with a 42-year-long political career. She credited him with bringing IT opportunities not just to the youth of Andhra Pradesh, but also to those in other states. Highlighting his commitment to the welfare of the people, Brahmani lamented the circumstances that led to his arrest without proper grounds. Questioning the state's current governance, she pointed out the lack of job opportunities for the youth, accusing the government of pushing them towards drug and alcohol addictions. Expressing her distress over the deteriorating future prospects for the youth, she emphasized Chandrababu's pivotal role in skill development and job creation. Chandrababu Naidu is currently detained in Rajahmundry jail. The strong public response to the protest showcases the depth of sentiment surrounding his arrest.
