K C Venugopal, Revanth Reddy Press Meet LIVE

KC Venugopal, the General Secretary (Organisation) of the Congress party, expressed confidence that the Congress would win the upcoming Assembly elections in five states, including Telangana, scheduled for November-December. He attributed this confidence to Sonia Gandhi's leadership, describing her as a strong and determined leader. Speaking to reporters at the venue of the Vijaya Bheri public meeting in Thukkuguda, on the outskirts of Hyderabad, Venugopal stated that the Congress would introduce six guarantees to secure victory in these elections. He also recalled how Sonia Gandhi fulfilled the long-cherished dream of the people of Telangana by delivering on the promise of the state's formation. Venugopal criticized Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, accusing him of leading the state into a state of corruption. He mentioned that Sonia Gandhi would reveal these six guarantees at the public meeting scheduled for September 17th in Thukkuguda. Revanth Reddy, the President of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC), called upon intellectuals, Telangana movement activists, students, and the unemployed to welcome Sonia Gandhi, regardless of their political affiliations. He highlighted that Sonia Gandhi would announce these six guarantees at the Vijayabheri Sabha and emphasized her commitment to fulfilling promises, much like the delivery of Telangana following the Karimnagar meeting. These guarantees are expected to be implemented within 30 days of coming to power.
