US police shocking comments on Telugu student's death

A tragic incident unfolded a few months ago in the United States when a young Indian woman lost her life after being struck by a police patrol vehicle while crossing the road. Shockingly, a police officer was recorded making insensitive remarks and even laughing about the incident. In the wake of this disturbing footage coming to light, authorities have initiated an inquiry into the officer's behavior. Jahnavi, a 23-year-old from Adon in the Kurnool district, had traveled to the United States on September 20, 2021, to pursue her studies after completing her degree. Tragically, this January, while on her way to college, she was involved in a collision with a police patrol vehicle, resulting in serious injuries that proved fatal. In the midst of this heartbreaking situation, a video has surfaced online featuring police officer Daniel Aderer discussing the investigation of this case. In the video, he casually remarked that Jahnavi was an ordinary person and implied that her death was inconsequential, followed by an unsettling bout of laughter. The Seattle Community Police Commission (CPC) has taken this video seriously, deeming the conversation between Daniel and his colleague both shocking and offensive, and they have initiated an investigation into the matter.
