Chandrababu presents his arguments in ACB Court

Vijayawada: TDP chief Chandrababu himself personally presented his arguments in the ACB court. When he requested an opportunity to make his case, the judge granted him permission. Chandrababu raised the issue with the judge, asserting that his arrest was unjustifiable. He firmly stated that he had no connection to the skill development case and believed his arrest was politically motivated. Chandrababu also highlighted the Cabinet's decision to establish the Skill Development Corporation and stressed that government decisions should not be subject to criminal prosecution. He pointed out that funding for skill development had been included in the 2015-16 budget and had received approval from the state assembly. He firmly stated that budget allocations passed by the Assembly were beyond the scope of criminal action. He further noted that his name did not appear in the FIR dated December 9, 2021, and the CID had not implicated him in the remand report at the time. Chandrababu expressed concern about the continued dominance of a single political party in the state, which he believed was exerting undue power over democratic systems. He made it known to the court that he had been arrested without the governor's permission.
