Chandrababu speaks to media about his arrest

Nandyala: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Nara Chandrababu Naidu, recently taken into custody in connection with a skill development case, has responded to the charges with a vehement denial of any wrongdoing. Chandrababu strongly maintained his innocence, challenging the grounds for his arrest and asserting that he had not committed any unlawful acts. He expressed deep concern over the manner of his arrest, emphasizing that the police had arrived in the middle of the night, causing distress and fear. He demanded clarity on the reasons behind his apprehension, pointing out the lack of concrete evidence to support the allegations against him. Chandrababu further criticized what he perceived as an attempt to suppress individuals engaged in advocating for public issues, a sentiment he expressed with evident frustration. Meanwhile, in Nandyala, the police responsible for Chandrababu's morning arrest have initiated his transfer via road, raising speculations of his relocation to the CID (Criminal Investigation Department) office. The police operation began at the RK function hall, where Chandrababu had been residing, and resulted in the arrest of several other TDP leaders. These events have heightened tension in Nandyala, leading to protests by TDP activists and leaders in response to Chandrababu Naidu's detention.
