IMF Chief dances to Indian folk, wins hearts

New Delhi: In a splendid display of India's rich cultural tapestry, the New Delhi airport became the stage for a heartwarming welcome extended to IMF Chief, Kristalina Georgieva. As she stepped off her flight, she was greeted not by the usual formalities, but by the vibrant rhythms of a traditional folk dance performed by a talented cultural troupe. The spirited dance performance, a celebration of India's diverse heritage, was a symbol of the nation's warm hospitality. Georgieva, with a smile that echoed her appreciation, applauded the dancers and, to the crowd's delight, even tried her hand (or feet, rather) at a few dance steps. It was a beautiful moment of cross-cultural connection as the IMF chief wholeheartedly embraced the local culture with infectious enthusiasm.
