YS Sharmila Claims Sonia Gandhi Unaware of YSR's Name in FIR

YSR Telangana Party Chief, YS Sharmila, provided an update on the discussions about merging her party with the Congress. She shared that these talks have now reached the final stage. Sharmila mentioned that she had conversations with Sonia Gandhi, the leader of the Congress party, as Sonia holds great respect for her father, YS Rajasekhara Reddy (YSR). Sharmila also addressed the matter of YSR's name being included in an FIR (First Information Report), stating that this was done without Sonia's knowledge. She pointed out that a similar situation occurred when Rajiv Gandhi passed away, and his name was listed as an absconder in a CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) charge sheet. According to Sharmila, during their discussions, Congress representatives conveyed that they understand the pain of such situations, even today without YSR's presence. Sharmila emphasized that she comprehends the sentiment behind these actions. Additionally, she clarified that including YSR's name in the CBI FIR was not a deliberate mistake made by the Congress party.
