Video Shows Karnataka Prison Break, Inmate Jumps 40-Foot Wall To Escape

In Karnataka's Davanagere, a man named Vasantha, 24, who was in jail for a child abuse case, escaped two days ago. He climbed a 40-foot wall and jumped. A video of this has been shared a lot online. He hurt his foot during the escape and was seen walking with difficulty. The jail found out later and told the police. On Monday, the police found Vasantha in a village named Duggavathi. He was hiding at a family member's house. The police have now caught him and sent him back to jail in Davanagere.
