Chandrababu Speaks After Meeting CEC Rajiv Kumar in Delhi Over Voting Concerns in AP

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu recently met with Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar in Delhi, with their discussion lasting about an hour. Post-meeting, Chandrababu addressed the media, highlighting voting irregularities in Andhra Pradesh (AP). Chandrababu informed that he has asked the CEC and other officials to visit AP. He emphasized the need for a high-level committee to investigate alleged vote manipulations. He further stated that the Election Commission (EC) has the power to disband parties that break the rules. Drawing attention to the unique situation in AP, Chandrababu remarked that it's unprecedented for votes from a single party to be targeted. He revealed that in the past four and a half years, multiple elections have occurred and there were instances where fake voter cards were produced. He accused the current administration of implementing a system called "Panchayat Secretariat", which employs over 130,000 people for various election-related duties. He alleged that this system, with the help of volunteers, is being used to identify and remove voters affiliated with TDP and other parties. Chandrababu claimed they've evidence, presented in a CD format, which indicates around 15 million votes have been tampered with, including votes with no proper addresses. He urged the EC to address these discrepancies before the next elections.
