Kharge in Chevella Meet: Telangana Congress Announces 12 Promises

In the upcoming Telangana elections set for the end of 2023, Congress president Kharge has announced 12 key promises to be delivered if they win. He urged voters to remember that it was Congress, with the support of the people, which led to the creation of the separate state of Telangana. Kharge emphasized that the decision wasn't because of one person's effort but was a collective demand from the public and Congress. He expressed dissatisfaction over the lack of support from the Telangana people and criticized KCR for treating the state as personal property. Earlier, TPCC Chief A Revanth revealed the 12-point plan focusing on SC and ST communities. Some highlights include: Setting SC and ST reservations at 18% and 12% respectively. Offering Rs 12 lakh financial help to SC and ST families under Ambedkar Abhaya Hastam. Providing land for the homeless and Rs 6 lakh for home construction. Introducing benefits for Madigas and special reservations for SCs and STs in government and private jobs. Assuring ownership rights for Podu and assigned lands. Allocating Rs 25 lakh per Tanda under the Sammakka Sarakka Rural scheme. Establishing three corporations for SCs and STs, each receiving Rs 750 crore. Providing educational support including overseas studies through Vidya Jyothulu. The Congress party is looking forward to positive feedback from the residents of Telangana.
