In a recent public meeting, former Minister and senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, strongly criticized two political rivals. He spoke out against YSRCP MLA Kodali Nani and TDP Rebel leader Vallabhaneni Vamshi. These comments were made because of their alleged actions towards TDP. The criticism happened during a big gathering before TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh's visit to Gannavaram. Lokesh was visiting as part of a youth march called Yuva Galam Padayatra. Devineni Umamaheswara Rao was very angry at Kodali Nani for what he said about TDP Chief Chandrababu, his son Nara Lokesh, and others. He praised Lokesh, saying that even though he was born rich, he is working hard for the people of the state. Devineni Umamaheswara Rao also spoke strongly against Kodali Nani, Vamshi, and YSRCP's alleged political tricks. He also challenged the people of Krishna district to vote against Nani and Vamshi in the next elections, ending their political careers.
