TSRTC Merger Bill: Unexpected Twist by the Governor!

On Thursday, the Raj Bhavan said that all bills sent by the state secretary, including the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Bill-2023, are now with the law secretary for their opinion. This was directed by Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan. The Governor also shared ten suggestions for the TSRTC bill to help the employees and the corporation. The Raj Bhavan wanted to be clear: what happens next with the bills, including the TSRTC one, depends on the law secretary's advice. The Raj Bhavan also said some wrong news is going around in the media, suggesting the Governor stopped the TSRTC bill or sent it to the President. This is not true. Everyone, especially TSRTC workers, should be careful and not believe false news.
