Agitating Farmers Seek Ambati Rayudu's Support at Amaravati Protest Camp

In Velagapudi, Amaravati, on Monday, agitating farmers from the capital villages had an unexpected encounter with cricketer Ambati Rayudu. The cricketer visited the local Sri Veerabhadra Swamy temple, where he offered prayers to the deity. On hearing about his presence in the area, the farmers promptly went to the temple to meet him and sought his attention towards their ongoing protest. Upon meeting Ambati Rayudu, the farmers humbly requested him to visit their protest camp located at Mandadam. They urged him to lend an ear to their grievances and understand the challenges they are facing. As he had already visited the capital area, the farmers believed that his presence at their camp would garner significant attention and potentially strengthen their cause. They sought the cricketer's support for their deeksha. Ambati Rayudu reportedly responded to the farmers' request by stating that their protest does not fall under his purview. He appeared to be trying to evade their questions, mentioning that he lacked a proper understanding of the complexities surrounding their protest. Subsequently, he left the place as the farmers chanted slogans in support of Amaravati, expressing their allegiance to their cause.
