CCTV Footage: Schoolgirls hit by car during biker's U-turn attempt in Karnataka

Karnataka: In a distressing incident near Sri Ram Temple in Raichur, Karnataka, on July 18, a schoolgirl faced a direct hit by a car when a biker attempted a U-turn. CCTV footage from a nearby shop captured the moment when the motorcyclist tried to turn around right in the path of the oncoming car. The car collided with the biker, propelling them through the air, and then crashed into a group of children in school uniforms. Despite the severity of the accident, miraculously, local sources reported that nobody suffered serious injuries. Witnesses and the injured girl's friends rushed to provide immediate assistance after the horrifying crash. However, the driver of the car fled the scene following the accident. According to Guruswamy Hiremath, a lecturer at a nearby college, the location near Sri Ram Temple is a bustling area due to the presence of multiple colleges. Unfortunately, the road lacks speed humps or traffic signals, which frequently contributes to accidents in the area.
