“Scratch your memory…” Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar Schools Cong MP Chidambaram

The Rajya Sabha witnessed a notable exchange on July 25 as Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar engaged in a spirited interaction with senior Congress MP P. Chidambaram during the ongoing Monsoon Session. Dhankhar took issue with Chidambaram's direct challenge to the chair, questioning him with the remark, "How can I do it?" Continuing his stance, Dhankhar further targeted Chidambaram, referring to his previous tenure in governance, which spanned ten years. He specifically questioned Chidambaram about his familiarity with rule number 267, urging him to refresh his memory on the matter. In response, Chidambaram attempted to defend his claim and shared his perspective on rule 267, highlighting its significance. Notably, he also brought up the comments made by TMC (Trinamool Congress) leader Derek O'Brien regarding the same rule during the discussion.
