AMC Implements Yellow Boxes at Junctions to Ease Traffic Congestion

They plan to introduce yellow boxes with cross-cross lines at 25 selected junctions in the city, starting with Panjrapol. Motorists are advised to take notice of these yellow boxes and follow traffic rules diligently to avoid penalties. The rule states that drivers should not enter the yellow box unless their exit is clear or if they are waiting to turn right. By adhering to these rules, drivers can prevent traffic jams and maintain a clear pathway for through-traffic. AMC officials emphasized that the yellow boxes are strategically placed at junctions with high traffic congestion. They are also located near fire or ambulance stations, where emergency vehicle movements are frequent. The purpose of these yellow boxes is to ensure smooth traffic flow and prevent unnecessary bottlenecks, especially during peak hours.
