Hyderabad: Union Tourism Minister Kishan Reddy is set to assume the role of Telangana State BJP President today. To mark the occasion, he visited the Bhagyalakshmi temple at Charminar this morning, accompanied by MLAs Etala Rajender, Raghunandan Rao, and other party leaders. The temple witnessed special pujas conducted in his honor, with a large gathering of party activists present. During the visit, an activist presented Kishan Reddy with a sword, which he proudly displayed at Charminar. Following this, the group proceeded to hold a rally, paying tribute to Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule's statue in Amberpet. Later, they visited the Kanakadurga temple in Basheer Bhag, participating in special pujas. Ambedkar's statue at the tank bund was adorned with garlands. The day's itinerary also includes paying homage to the martyrs at the Telangana Martyrs Stupa, located opposite the Assembly. At 11.45 am, Kishan Reddy will officially assume the position of Telangana BJP President at the Nampally BJP state office in Hyderabad.
