Indian Building Surpasses Pentagon To Become World's Largest Office

According to a report from CNN, the reign of the Pentagon as the world's largest office building has come to an end after 80 years. Surat, a city in the state of Gujarat in India, will now claim that title with its newly constructed diamond trading center. Surat is renowned as the global hub for gemstones, responsible for cutting 90 percent of the world's diamonds. The Surat Diamond Bourse, as it is called, is set to become a "one-stop destination" for more than 65,000 diamond professionals including cutters, polishers, and traders, as reported by CNN. This state-of-the-art facility will cater to the needs of the thriving diamond industry, solidifying Surat's position as a major player in the global diamond trade.
