French woman hit by meteorite while having coffee; geologist calls it ‘rare event’

In a surprising incident, a French woman had an extraordinary encounter while enjoying a coffee on a terrace with her friend. The incident occurred on July 6 when she was engaged in a conversation with her friend, seated on an outdoor terrace. Out of nowhere, a mysterious pebble struck her in the ribs, leaving her bewildered. To unravel the mystery behind this unusual event, she decided to seek some expert opinions. She took the rock to a local roofer, who ruled out the possibility of it being made from cement. Curiosity piqued, she then approached geologist Thierry Rebmann for further examination. To her astonishment, Thierry confirmed that the object was, indeed, of extra-terrestrial origins, suggesting that she was struck by a meteorite while sipping her coffee on the terrace.
