Meet Sakshi Kochhar, India's Youngest Commercial Pilot
Hailing from the serene hills of Himachal Pradesh, Sakshi Kochhar has soared to new heights, earning the distinction of being India's youngest commercial pilot. Kochhar completed her initial four-month intensive ground theory training in Mumbai, impressing her mentors with her competence and dedication.
Recognizing her extraordinary talent, she was chosen for advanced flight training in the United States, a prestigious opportunity few receive. During her seven and a half months of meticulous training there, Kochhar proved her mettle, successfully obtaining her commercial pilot's license from the US aviation authorities.
Kochhar's achievement doesn't end there; she's now on the path to transferring her US license to India. The procedure requires her to pass a test called RTR, which she is currently preparing for, while concurrently undergoing rigorous training with the Indian Air Force.
