State and National Women's Commissions Probe Sarpanch Navya's Harassment Case

In a significant development in the escalating dispute between MLA Tatikonda Rajaiah and Sarpanch Navya of Janakipuram, the National and State Women’s Commissions have proactively stepped in, making the situation more intricate. Both commissions have independently started investigation against MLA Rajaiah, effectively intensifying the controversial case surrounding alleged harassment against the female sarpanch. Both commissions have sought evidences from the female Sarpanch claiming allegations against her by BRS MLA. Upon taking suo motu cognizance of the deepening dispute, the commissions have issued directives to the police department, ordering them to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the matter and submit a detailed report.
