Minister Ajay Kumar Highlights Future Chief Minister Candidate

In an event commemorating the centenary celebrations of the formation of the state, Minister Ajay Kumar emphasized the progress made under Chief Minister KCR's leadership and highlighted a potential successor. He stated that, alongside the present Chief Minister, there is another individual prepared to assume the role of Chief Minister when the time is right. Minister Ajay Kumar praised both Chief Minister KCR and Minister KTR for their significant contributions to the development of Khammam. He specifically identified Minister KTR as the leading candidate poised to take on the Chief Minister position. This remark came after he subtly criticized the opposition parties' Chief Ministerial contenders. Speaking about the progress in Khammam, the Transport Minister mentioned several developmental measures that have been undertaken. Notably, the Kollapadu project, with a budget of Rs 80 crore, is set to be initiated, and Minister KTR will soon lay the foundation stone for a bridge. Additionally, Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar expressed his commitment to serving the people of Khammam. He pledged to retire from politics on the day when his services are no longer needed by the city. As part of the Urban Development Day celebrations, Minister Ajay Kumar actively participated in a rally from SR & BGNR College Grounds to the Municipal Office, demonstrating his support for the continued progress of the city.
