The entire episode was captured on camera by YouTuber Pedro Mota during a live video shoot for his channel, Madly Rover. Pedro Mota shared the video on his channel, labeling it a "horrific experience." The footage has also been widely circulated on various social media platforms. In the video, titled "Foreigner traveling in India experiences the thieves market in Bangalore," Pedro Mota recounts his exploration of the area, known as the Sunday market or chor bazaar. However, his experience took an unfortunate turn when an irate individual assaulted him by forcefully grabbing and twisting his hand and arm, persistently pursuing him as he attempted to flee. Pedro Mota goes on to mention that despite the initial ordeal, he also enjoyed sampling street food, meeting friendly locals, and engaging in negotiations for a new buttoned shirt.
