Threat Message to NCP Chief Sharad Pawar Sparks Investigation and Concern

The recent emergence of a threat message targeting Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar has caused a significant stir. Promptly responding to the seriousness of the situation, the Mumbai Police has swiftly registered a case and initiated a comprehensive investigation into the incident. On Thursday, NCP MP Supriya Sule, daughter of Sharad Pawar, disclosed receiving a distressing WhatsApp message that explicitly threatened her father's life. This alarming communication has drawn comparisons to the earlier case of Narendra Dabholkar, who also faced death threats. Acknowledging the gravity of the matter, Supriya Sule promptly met with the Mumbai Police Commissioner and lodged an official complaint. Expressing deep concern for her father's safety, Supriya Sule urgently appealed to both the Maharashtra Home Minister and the Union Home Minister to intervene in this matter without delay. Emphasizing Pawar's status as a national-level leader, she stressed that the responsibility for his security ultimately lies with the Union Home Ministry. Demanding stringent action against those responsible for the threats, Sule called for immediate measures to address the security concerns surrounding her father.
