MLA Faces Protests during Door-to-Door Campaign in Eluru District

MLA Elija encountered a tense situation as protests erupted in Srinivasapuram village, Jangareddygudem mandal, Eluru district. The incident occurred during the government's "gadapagadapaku" initiative, where officials visit households to assess the implementation of welfare schemes. During the campaign, a young man named Mohan raised a question to the MLA regarding the development in the village. In response, the MLA suggested that Mohan should inquire about the progress at the secretariat, and then promptly left the location. Frustrated by the response, Mohan countered, questioning the purpose of going to the secretariat if he couldn't obtain information on the village's development. The exchange escalated, leading to police intervention to prevent further escalation of the situation.
