Watch: Viral Video of BRS Leaders in a Fierce Verbal Exchange on Stage

In a heated exchange, Pinapaka MLA Rega Kantha Rao and Bhadrachalam MLA Podem Veeraiah engaged in a verbal spat during a government event on Wednesday, despite the presence of State Minister Indrakaran Reddy. During the distribution of bonus cheques for beedi leaves, a verbal altercation broke out. The altercation occurred at a government programme held in Lakshminagaram, Dummugudem, in the Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The incident started when Kantha Rao, while addressing the crowd, praised Chief Minister KCR and mentioned his party's name, confidently stating, "Our party will come back to power." This led to his interruption by Veeraiah, triggering a sharp disagreement between the two leaders. Kantha Reddy, who was also present at the event, opted to distance himself from the scene, walking away during the heated argument. Both Kantha Rao and Veeraiah were on stage at the time, and their altercation escalated to the point of personal insults. The situation was swiftly handled by the police and other attendees, who intervened promptly to defuse the tension. The dispute, however, did not go unnoticed, as video clips of the altercation have since gone viral on social media.
