Russia has accused Ukraine of attempting to assassinate President Vladimir Putin by launching two drones towards the Kremlin. The drones were allegedly shot down by Russian air defences. The Kremlin called the incident a "planned terrorist act and an attempt on the life of the president" and warned of possible retaliatory measures. However, Vladimir Putin was reportedly not inside the Kremlin at the time of the alleged attack, according to a spokesperson. No one was harmed in the event and no damage was reported as a result of the incident, he added.
