The Jammu and Kashmir government has taken action to revamp a public school in the Kathua area after a Class 3 student made an appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a video message, highlighting the lack of basic amenities at her school. Seerat Naaz's message went viral on social media, prompting Ravi Shankar Sharma, the director of school education in Jammu, to visit the school located in the remote Lohai-Malhar block. Following the visit, the school has begun undergoing a transformation, with the installation of new facilities and equipment. Seerat Naaz, upon seeing the improvements made, expressed her happiness and praised PM Modi for his quick action in response to her appeal. She also expressed her aspiration to become an IAS officer to serve the nation.
