On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared highlights of his recent visit to Assam, during which he launched and laid the foundation stones of various projects worth approximately Rs 14,300 crore. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was present on that occasion. The Prime Minister released a three-minute video showcasing his activities during the visit, including attending a road show, participating in Bihu celebrations, and inaugurating AIIMS Guwahati. During his visit, the Prime Minister held a massive roadshow from Basistha to Sarusajai in Guwahati, and attended a grand Bihu dance performed by over 11,000 Bihu dancers at the Sarusajai Stadium on the occasion of Bohag Bihu. The Prime Minister also presided over a public function during the event. The state of Assam made history on Friday by setting two Guinness World Records for the "largest Bihu dance and largest dhol drum ensemble."
