Bandi Sanjay Releases Letter to Activists from Jail
On the occasion of the BJP foundation day celebrations, Bandi Sanjay, the Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party president, wrote an open letter to the party leaders and cadre. In the letter, he claimed that his arrest in the Class 10 examination paper leakage case was part of a larger conspiracy by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) government led by chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. However, he said that such conspiracies would not demoralize the party and its cadre.
According to Sanjay, he was targeted after he questioned Minister KTR on the paper leak case. He added that the BRS government had "foisted false cases" against him only because he had taken up the cause of the 30 lakh unemployed youth who had suffered due to the leakage of question papers of recruitment tests conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission. Sanjay accused KCR's son, K T Rama Rao, who is the state IT minister, of being responsible for the failure to prevent the paper leak.
Although he regretted not being able to attend the Prime Minister's meeting in Hyderabad on April 8, Sanjay urged party leaders to mobilize large crowds, including unemployed youth, to make the rally a success.
The letter was released through Sanjay's brother Bandi Sravan Kumar, who visited him in Karimnagar jail in the morning.
