LIVE : Tension escalates at YS Sharmila's residence

Hyderabad: Tension arose at the residence of YSRTP Chief YS Sharmila when police stopped her from leaving her house in Lotus Pond to visit Osmania Hospital. The incident occurred when Sharmila called for a visit to the hospital earlier today. A scuffle broke out between activists and the police, causing Sharmila to fall down during the altercation. YS Sharmila was upset with Chief Minister KCR, calling him a dictator and accusing him of fearing the YSRTP and YSR's child. She was also angry that her padayatra was halted. Sharmila criticized the government's actions and the lack of facilities at Osmania Hospital. She reminded the Chief Minister that he had promised to build towers worth Rs. 200 crores nine years ago, but people were still not receiving adequate medical treatment. Sharmila stated that stopping the opposition was a threat to peace and security.
