YS Sharmila meets National Women Commission, files complaint again BRS leaders

New Delhi: YSRTP president Y.S. Sharmila has filed a complaint with the National Commission for Women (NCW) chairperson Rekha Sharma against BRS leaders for their alleged use of vulgar language, abusive behaviour, and death threats towards her. Sharmila accused BRS leaders of having no respect for women and targeting her for exposing their wrongdoings to the public, which garnered a strong response from the masses. Sharmila claims that BRS ministers and MLAs have used foul language, made derogatory remarks, and vowed to kill and crush her. Sharmila submitted a memorandum and video evidence to the NCW to seek action against these leaders. After the meeting, Sharmila informed the media that the NCW chairperson had responded positively and assured action against the BRS ministers and MLAs.
