Police have arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in spreading a manipulated video on the internet featuring Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Surve (Shinde faction) and party spokesperson Sheetal Mhatre. The video shows Mhatre purportedly kissing Surve on the cheek during a rally procession, while Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde stands beside them. Following the video's widespread circulation, Mhatre claimed that the Thackeray group and Yuva Sena were responsible for its creation. The police have identified the two suspects as Tare Manas Kuwar and Ashok Mishra. Mhatre lodged a complaint at the Dahisar Police station, leading to the arrests of the accused individuals.
