Asaduddin Owaisi, the Chief of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), has come out in support of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his family, as KCR's daughter K Kavitha faces questioning by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi liquor policy case. Owaisi has also weighed in on the ongoing "liquor-gate" controversy, accusing BJP MPs of calling for an economic boycott of Muslims and urging people to keep weapons at home. Despite these serious allegations, Owaisi believes that the Modi government is too preoccupied with targeting the Chief Minister's family rather than focusing on Telangana's inclusive development. Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) leader K Kavitha is being questioned by the Enforcement Directorate in Delhi in relation to a case related to the Excise Policy scam in Delhi.
