Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader K Kavitha has come into the political spotlight due to Enforcement Directorate (ED) summons and her call for a ‘dharna’ in support of the Women’s Reservation Bill. During a press conference held in New Delhi on Thursday, the Telangana MLC claimed that the ED takes precedence over PM Modi in election-bound states. She also announced that 6,000 people have confirmed their participation in her ‘dharna’ at Jantar Mantar, where 18 political parties have also shown their interest.
