Viral video: 1st ball: Bat smashed; 2nd ball: Stumps destroyed; Shaheen Shah Afridi bowls in full throttle

Shaheen Shah Afridi, captain of the Lahore Qalandars, put on a sensational display of bowling in a Pakistan Super League 2023 match against Babar Azam's Peshawar Zalmi. Despite a high-scoring affair featuring over 440 runs, it was Afridi's impressive 5-wicket haul for just 40 runs in 4 overs that secured the Qalandars' 40-run victory on Sunday night (February 26). Afridi made an immediate impact, taking the wicket of Zalmi opener Mohammad Haris in the very first over. He even broke Haris's bat with his first ball of the match before uprooting his middle stump to leave him with a duck. In his second over, Afridi faced off against Pakistan captain Babar in the highly anticipated "Babar vs Afridi" showdown of PSL 2023. However, the contest was short-lived as Afridi claimed Babar's wicket, ending Zalmi's hopes of successfully chasing down the mammoth Qalandars total. Afridi's remarkable performance on the field has earned him well-deserved praise from fans and experts alike.
