Telangana: Jealous lover murders rival, sends gruesome photos to love interest

Abdullapurmet: In a gruesome incident, a man brutally murdered and mutilated the body of his friend after his lover is closer to him. The accused, identified as Hariharakrishna, had reportedly suspected that his love interest was close to the victim, Naveen, who was a friend of his. According to the sources, Hariharakrishna had invited Naveen to a party on 17th February and later stabbed him to death. He then mutilated the body, separating the heart, lips, and private parts, and sent pictures of them to the woman, who is also a student at Mahatma Gandhi University. The incident came to light after Naveen's parents filed a missing person complaint with the police. Following an investigation, the police found Naveen's mutilated body in a ditch in the suburbs of Hyderabad. The body was recovered and sent for postmortem, which confirmed that Naveen had been stabbed to death and his body had been mutilated after death. The police traced the messages sent by Hariharakrishna to the woman and arrested him. DCP Sai, who is leading the investigation, stated that the case is being probed with technical evidence, and it appears to be a planned murder. Both Naveen and Hariharakrishna were good friends, and the victim's parents were shocked by the brutal manner in which their son was killed. Meanwhile, the woman who received the pictures of the mutilated body reportedly gave a reply to the accused, which is being investigated by the police.
