Bandi Sanjay alleges ‘Love Jihad’ in PG Medico Suicide Attempt Incident

Telangana BJP State President Bandi Sanjay stirred controversy by claiming that the suicide attempt of a PG Medico student in Warangal's MGM Hospital is a case of love jihad. Sanjay alleged that Hindu women are being harassed, trapped, and cheated by foreign-funded groups, and that the incident in Warangal is just one example of a larger trend. However, he provided no evidence to support his claim and faced criticism from other political leaders and activists. He has termed CM KCR as anti dalit and demanded a probe by a sitting judge. He has defended his statement alleging that CM KCR did not support Draupadi Murmu's presidential candidature. The medical student in question attempted suicide on Wednesday allegedly due to ragging by a senior, according to police. The case has sparked outrage among students, who have been protesting and demanding justice for the victim.
