The popular musical reality show, Telugu Indian Idol, is set to return with its second season after a successful debut on AHA. A Curtain Raiser event was organized to promote the upcoming show, which featured performances by renowned singers Hema Chandra and Geetha Madhuri, who will also take on hosting and judging duties, respectively, for the new season. The first season's winner, BVK Vagdevi, was named, with Srinivas and Vaishnavi taking second and third place, respectively. Former Bigg Boss 5 runner-up, Sreerama Chandra, hosted the first season. Nithya Menon, Karthik, and Thaman S, served as judges for the inaugural season.
