In response, TDP cadres claimed that the drivers were terminated from their jobs and accused the Jagan government of taking "revenge" against a common man for simply speaking with Nara Lokesh. However, the APSRTC has publicly denounced these claims as false and fake news. The organization took to social media to issue a statement, calling the allegations "absolutely false news" and "strongly deny[ing] these claims made in the media."
