AP Finance Minister Buggana welcomes Union Budget 2023

Andhra Pradesh Finance Minister, Buggana Rajendranath Reddy, expressed support for the reduced income tax slab rates in the recent union Budget 2023. At a media conference, he praised some of the budgetary allocations while noting that the budget prioritized seven sectors but did not address issues specific to the states. He said the state's suggestions were considered in pre-budget meetings, but some decisions, like the construction of nursing colleges, skill development centers, airports, and ports, align with schemes already implemented in Andhra Pradesh. Overall, he deemed these decisions useful for the development of housing, Ekalavya schools, and more.
