Nagpur Scandal: Indian Cricketer Umesh Yadav Duped of 44 Lakhs

Indian fast bowler Umesh Yadav has fallen victim to a scam involving a man named Shailesh Thackeray. According to police reports, Thackeray took a sum of Rs 44 lakh from the cricketer to purchase a property in his name, but instead used the money to buy the property under his own name and disappeared. A case has been filed against Thackeray under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). An investigation is currently underway to apprehend the suspect. The police official stated that the case was registered on a complaint lodged by Yadav, who is a resident of Nagpur, against Thakre, who is a 37-year-old resident of Koradi and a friend of the cricketer. At this time, no arrest has been made as the accused is currently absconding. It has been reported that after Yadav was selected as a member of the Indian cricket team, he appointed his friend Thakre as his manager on July 15, 2014, as the latter was unemployed, as per the First Information Report (FIR).
